BEREA, Ohio -- Berea Animal Rescue Friends (ARF) will host the Luck of the Paw Casino and Game Night, a fundraiser to support its homeless animals.

The event will also provide an update on the organization's progress in building a larger new shelter.

Luck of the Paw will be June 30 from 6:30 p.m until 10:00 p.m. at the Ehrnefelt Event Center, 18100 Royalton Road in Strongsville.

The party will feature casino gambling, instant Bingo, sideboards, and 50/50 raffles.

There will be appetizer and dessert buffets, as well as a live D.J., a silent auction, raffle table and more.

Some of the silent auction items include Cedar Point tickets, a "Cleveland Night Out," restaurant and entertainment packages, theater tickets, zoo passes and more.

Tickets are $50 per person and includes all-you-can-eat appetizers and desserts as well as one drink ticket.

Tickets are available on the Berea Animal Rescue's website: http://www.bereaanimalrescue.com.

All the proceeds from the Luck of the Paw benefit the homeless animals of the Berea Animal Rescue.

The rescue relies solely on adoptions, fundraising and donations to support its operation and care for its animals.

The shelter provides food, shelter and healthcare to more than 1,000 animals each year.

The rescue operates a no-time-limit shelter dedicated to finding permanent homes and promotes responsible pet ownership.
