Cat yoga? Pet movie nights? Tails from the City opens new cat adoption center in North Olmsted

Rescued cats and kittens have a new facility to call home.

NORTH OLMSTED -- Tails from the City, an all-volunteer grassroots cat and kitten rescue -- is opening their new adoption and activity center this weekend!

The center will open July 14 at 23130 Lorain Road in North Olmsted.

The new center will host adoption events, and there will be a small fundraising retail section where customers can buy cat and dog goodies.

The center will also host cat yoga, educational seminars, movie nights and more.

Tails from the City hopes the new facility will generate more awareness, which means more volunteers and more homes for the rescued cats and kittens.

The grand opening on July 14 will offer light refreshments, a meet-and-greet with volunteers and sponsors. There will be cats and kittens available for adoption.

Tails from the City rescues and adopts about 500 cats and kittens a year.
