Looking to add a new furry friend to your family this summer?
The City of Cleveland Animal Care and Control, also known as "City Dogs," has reduced adoption fees until Sunday, July 24.
In honor of celebrating Cleveland Public Safety Week, adoption fees for a dog in the city shelter are only $21, which is just the cost of a county dog license.
The city kennel is full of adorable dogs waiting for a home.
Anyone interested in adopting or setting up a meet and greet can visit www.tinyurl.com/meetacitydog to complete a simple and quick form to set up an appointment with an adoption counselor that will help find the perfect match for them.
The $21 adoption fee includes a dog license, microchip, basic vaccinations and spay/surgery if needed.
City Dogs Cleveland is located at 9203 Detroit Road.
Anyone interested in finding out more information can contact City Dogs Cleveland at 216-664-3476 or by email at citydogs@city.cleveland.oh.us.
