For the rest of October, the shelter will have reduced adoption fees and special events as they work to find good homes for the animals in need. All personality of dogs are currently guests of Cleveland Animal Care and Control. Dogs that like to hike, dogs that like to snuggle up on the couch and just hang out or dogs that enjoy all of the above and so much more more!

On Thursday, Oct. 21, the kennel will kick off a massive four-day adoption event called "BARK-TOBERFEST." The lowered adoption fee will continue as will walk-up opportunities to meet the dogs available to take home.

If adoption is not an option, there are other ways people can support City Dogs. There will be a "Tricks and Treats" drop-off donation drive so the shelter can stock up on all the enrichment items needed to care the dogs. Those interested in donating online can go to tinyurl.com/citydogswishlist, and there will also be information about volunteering at the shelter.

Finally, on Oct. 30, join Cleveland Animal Control and City Dogs Cleveland for a Virtual Halloween Parade, where adoptable dogs will be dressing up in costume! You can watch it on the City Dogs Facebook page starting at 10 a.m.
