CLEVELAND — “She’s just doing so well. You can tell she’s definitely more mellow.”
Roxy’s handler, Kayla DeLorenzo, is seeing some major changes in the way Roxy behaves.
“She’s been listening better with her commands when she’s out and about. She gets so excited to put her vest on and go out everywhere. … I think she’s starting to listen a little bit more. I’m repeating every command. She’s starting to understand because I repeat so often. She’s starting to comprehend and she’s just doing good.”
Roxy will eventually be paired with a veteran through Wags 4 Warriors once her training is complete.
