CLEVELAND — As has become an annual tradition, wkyc studios and the Cleveland Animal Protective League is hosting the "Fur-Get-Me-Not" Telethon to raise money for pet adoptions.
The event will take place Thursday from 5 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. after being moved from its initial March date as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Our reporters will be live from the APL on Willey Avenue throughout the day, including during our "Go!," "It's About You," "What's New," "What Matters Most," and "Front Row" programs.
Last year we raised around $60,000, which directly helped animals find their "furever homes." Due to social distancing limiting the amount of people in our phone bank this year, organizers are asking people to donate by texting "APL" to 243725, if possible. However, donations can still be made by calling 866-392-7387 or by going to ClevelandAPL.org.
All proceeds will benefit the Cleveland APL.
