The Village of Woodmere Police Department has sworn in its newest member.
Revan, a K-9 officer, officially joined the department Wednesday at 7 p.m. The ceremony was complete with both the oath (to which a yapping Revan happily obliged) and even a paw print signature.
Revan was only born this past Veteran's Day, but is already raring to go catch some bad guys. Other police dogs from around the area also attended the ceremony at Woodmere Village Hall.
