WESTLAKE, Ohio — You can expect stores to be packed this weekend as back-to-school shoppers look to cash in on tax-free weekend.
Tina Roberts, the VP of commercial operations for Crocker Park, walked WKYC’s Maureen Kyle and Dave Chudowsky through this year’s hottest back-to-school fashions.
Top trends include:
- Layering: “Layering will be big this year,’ said Roberts who explained you can do it with T-shirts and flannels along with sweaters and sweat shirts.
- Mixing Patterns: While it can feel a little odd, mixing patterns can look even better than matching.
- Mustard-colored everything! “Mustard is the color for fall.”
- Comfort is king. Whether it’s leggings or denim, the best thing for kids of all ages is to feel comfortable!.
