Xhibition in Shaker Heights launches Beyoncé's new clothing line

The store is just one of 15 in the country to launch the products.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — Beyoncé's new clothing line is launching this weekend, and Northeast Ohio is among the first regions to get a look.

The legendary pop star's inaugural spring/summer adidas x IVY PARK collection became available at Xhibition Van Aken on Tuttle Road in Shaker Heights starting Saturday morning. The store was one of just 15 in the country to launch the products.

Gabrielle Schneider, Senior Women's Buyer at Xhibition, said:

"We’re beyond excited to be one of fifteen retailers nationwide with access to the first adidas x IVY PARK collection. It’s important to be part of such a special moment in history; one that celebrates Beyoncé’s unique superpower to unite and bring people together across cultures. She has the ability to amplify the stories and unique voices of those who have been banished to the margins. We’re lucky to be able to share that and bring something special to Cleveland, an otherwise unrepresented market."

Beyoncé launched IVY PARK in 2016 and now owns 100% of the brand. She announced her partnership with adidas last year, and the new line is gender-neutral and will "value strength over beauty, the freedom and confidence to take chances and the ability to be unapologetically themselves."

Said Beyoncé, in part:

"The line is fun and lends itself to creativity, the ultimate power. I focused on designing a unisex collection of footwear & apparel because I saw so many men in IVY PARK. The way they have embraced the brand is an unexpected gift. I appreciate the beauty of gender-neutral clothing and breaking the so-called fashion rules. I took a chance on myself when I bought my company back. We all have the confidence in us to take chances and bet on ourselves."

Besides the 15 stores, the brand will also be be available online at adidas.com. Products will include footwear as well as apparel and will range in price from $25 to $250.
