Meijer looking to hire 600 employees for its new stores in Lorain, Brimfield

GREENVILLE, Mich. — Meijer has 600 job openings for the new  Lorain and Brimfield supercenters that are scheduled to open this spring.

The company is looking for candidates to fill positions in all departments. Jobs available include clerks, cake decorators, customer service representatives, cashiers, and meat cutters.

Starting pay is based upon experience and specific skills. Employees are paid weekly and will receive store discounts, paid parental leave, educational reimbursement, and flexible scheduling. Meijer also says it has career advancement opportunities, access to health insurance, and a 401K retirement plan option.

Meijer first came to Northeast Ohio last year with stores in Avon, Mentor, and Stow. Those looking to apply for the newest positions can do so at jobs.meijer.com/stores.
