McDonald's to hire nearly 400 new employees in the Northeast Ohio region by the end of 2020

The fast-food giant currently offers tuition assistance for employees, up to $2,500 per year.

CLEVELAND — McDonald's restaurants across Northeast Ohio expect to hire nearly 400 employees before the end of 2020. 

The fast-food empire announced the hiring news in a press release on Thursday morning, stating that they will be hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.

Along with competitive pay, the company offers career-advancing opportunities, including college tuition assistance. Eligible employees can apply for up to $2,500 in assistance each academic year after 90 days working for the company. For more information on the Archways to Opportunities program, click here

McDonald's has implemented nearly 50 new safety procedures to protect staff and customers during the pandemic. Measures include wellness and temperature checks, social distancing floor stickers, barriers at order points, masks and gloves for employees with the addition of new procedures, and training for the opening of dining rooms.
