Week-long virtual job fair planned to help match job seekers with employers

The job fair will be held June 15th - 19th.

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio — Are you in need of a job?

The Cleveland-Cuyahoga County chapter of OhioMeansJobs is joining forces with the county to host a virtual job fair.

The event is scheduled for the week of June 15- 19 from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. each day. According to the groups website, more than 75 employers will take part in the virtual fair. Representatives from a variety of industries will be available for on-the-spot interviews. Job seekers will be presented opportunities in the health care, manufacturing, transportation, and service industries along with many others.

“This will be a great turnout,” said Frank Brickner, OhioMeansJobs interim Executive Director. “It appears that the economy is adjusting to new conditions, and many companies are ready to hire. Our goal is to get qualified job seekers in front of these employers and make the right connections for everyone,” he explains.

Cuyahoga County and the Mandel Supporting Foundation at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland each provided $150,000 to support the virtual event.

Pre-registration for the event is required. If you're a company wanting to participate, you can call (216) 777-8202 to register. For more information and to pre-register, click here.
