COLUMBUS, Ohio — Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, the popular Columbus-based creamery, has issued a voluntary recall on three batches of one of its vegan products.

The recall entails three batches of Cold Brew with Coconut Cream Non-Dairy ice cream pints, which may contain an undeclared milk allergen.

Jeni's issued the recall Friday, after receiving a customer complaint of an allergic reaction.

The products were distributed to grocery stores nationwide, in Jeni's shops and online. The brand says it has pulled the flavor from its shops.

The recalled pints can be identified with the following batch codes, located on the bottom of the container: 19-016, 19-086 and 19-154.

Anyone who has purchased a recalled product should take a photo of its batch code before disposing of it. Photos can be sent to contact@jenis.com for a full refund.

The brand says it is currently investigating how the product came into contact with dairy powder.
