Brite Winter Festival is one of the 'coolest' events of the year

The music and art festival will be held in the West Bank of the Flats on Feb. 23, starting at 3 p.m..

The 10th annual Brite Winter Festival is expected to draw around 20,000 people, organizers say.

The music and art festival will be held in the West Bank of the Flats on Feb. 23, starting at 3:00 p.m..

There will be more than 30 musicians who will showcase their talents on five indoor and outdoor stages. There will also be art, food trucks, and so much more.

"We've had freezing weather," Brian Horburgh, who is the executive director of Brite Cleveland (the organizers of the event) said. We've had warm weather. But, the one thing that stays constant is that people come out."

John Teel owns Mulberry’s bar, which will be a location people can come to during the festival. He says the event gives them a big economic boost.

"It's a significant impact,” Teel said. "People don’t realize that the West Bank is really on a revitalization trip. Brite Fest really exposes a lot of people to what’s happening in downtown Cleveland."

He says it's much needed exposure for a part of town that's on the rise.

The Brite Winter Festival is free of charge and goes until 1 a.m.
