The elusive Popeyes chicken sandwich has ignited a frenzy in restaurants and drive-thru lines across the U.S.

Demand has been so high, many Popeyes locations have already sold out of their sandwich supply and are awaiting reinforcements.

Meanwhile, the sandwich has also started an internet debate dividing fans between Popeyes and Chick-fil-a.

But if you can't get your hands on the popular new Popeyes sandwich, don't forget that there are Northeast Ohio eateries that have been serving solid chicken sandwiches long before the recent Peopeyes craze.
