Tuesday evening, WKYC shared a Kent State journalism project known as "My Voice. Our Stories.", exploring the experiences of Cleveland's Hough community.

Students from KSU's Advanced Television Producing class partnered with kids from Daniel E. Morgan School throughout the semester in a effort to better highlight the conditions and challenges faced in Hough. The class will be producing a 30-minute TV special and a 15-minute documentary on their experiences within the coming weeks.

Before the final product is completed, Channel 3's Russ Mitchell hosted the Kent State students at Daniel E. Morgan School for a "Community Conversation" to discuss the impact this project has had on both them and the community.
