CLEVELAND -- Quicken Loans Arena will transform into a Gangsta's Paradise at halftime on Friday.

That's when Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum recording artist Coolio will perform a special halftime show midway through the Cleveland Cavaliers' matchup with the Sacramento Kings.

Coolio -- real name Artis Leon Ivey Jr. -- first rose to prominence in the 1990s with hit songs such as “Fantastic Voyage” and "C U When U Get There.” His most famous song, the aforementioned "Gangsta's Paradise" won a 1996 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance.

Most recently, Coolio has ventured into the culinary world, with a web series and cookbook titled "Cookin' with Coolio."

In addition to the special halftime show, Friday will mark the Cavs' second 'City Edition' game of the 2018-19 season. For the first time since Nov. 13 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, the Cavs will don their blue and orange 'City Edition' uniforms, with each fan in attendance receiving a miniature script Cleveland desk sign.

Tickets for Friday night's game are still available on Cavs.com and at any of Discount Drug Mart's 58 Northern Ohio locations. Tip-off between the Cavs (5-19) and Kings (12-11) is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
