ELYRIA, Ohio — One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting that took place in Elyria on Tuesday.

Officers initially responded to University Hospital – Elyria, where they made contact with an adult male victim, who had been shot. The victim was ultimately discharged from the hospital after being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
A preliminary investigation into the matter revealed that the shooting occurred at a private garage located in the 100 block of Brace Ave. Upon responding, officers discovered a second adult male victim with fatal injuries.
