BEDFORD, Ohio — Two are dead after a stabbing Saturday morning in Bedford.
The incident happened on the 20 block of Magnolia Avenue. Officers responded to a report of a male that was bleeding from the head area at the scene.
When the officers arrived, they found two males on the floor bleeding profusely. One of the males was pronounced dead at the scene and the other male was transported to Marymount Hospital. He was then life-flighted to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died due to his injuries.
The victims have since been identified as 19-year-old Christopher L. Pate Jr. and 47-year-old Christopher L. Pate Sr.
A lone suspect was arrested a short time after officers arrived to the scene according to the Bedford Police Department. He has been transported to the Solon Jail.
The incident remains under investigation by the Bedford Police Department.
