According to the Akron Police Department, three 2023 vehicles were stolen from Mercedes-Benz of Akron on East Market Street sometime in the overnight hours.

Upon arriving after a reported break-in at the store, a glass break and other evidence of forced entry were visible to police officers.

Police say they recovered two of the vehicles on Cleveland's east side on Thursday. One was found on Helena Avenue, while the other was located nearby on Elgin Avenue.

No arrests have been made in connection to stole vehicles.

Anyone with information on the stolen cars is asked to contact the Akron Police Detective Burea at 330-375-2490 or 330-375-2Tip or the Summit County Crimestoppers at 330-434-COPS. Tips can be texted to TIPSCO at 274637.

Earlier this week, nine vehicles were stolen from the Alfa Romeo of Strongsville car dealership. Police said a garage door window was broken at the rear of the building. Surveillance video showed "four unknown individuals wearing dark-colored hooded clothing, masks and gloves."

Once they entered the dealership, police say the suspects located key fobs and were able to steal the nine vehicles.

As of Wednesday, five of the vehicles had been recovered.

Last month, three vehicles were stolen from Junction Auto Family dealership in Munson. The thieves drove the three cars right out the front door and exceeded speeds of 100 miles per hour, causing Chesterland police officers to call off the chase. Geauga County officials tell 3News that one of the three vehicles, a $90,000 Jeep Trackhawk, has been recovered.
