CLEVELAND — A 3-year-old boy is in the hospital recovering today after being shot in the hand Tuesday night, according to Cleveland Police.
The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. last night near the intersection of East 131st St. and Harvard Ave. The boy was in a car with his mother, when shots were fired in the car's direction, hitting the boy. Cleveland Police say at this point they don't know where the shots came from. There were no other injuries reported.
The boy was transported to South Point Hospital then transferred to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. Cleveland Police are still investigating.
