Akron police and the Amazon-owned home security company Ring are asking for the public's help finding an alleged porch pirate.
Ring posted a video on its Facebook page showing the suspect (wearing Ohio State gear). He is accused of stealing packages from a North Main St. home this past Monday.
The Ring doorbell technology allows residents to see whoever comes to their front porch, including potential criminals. That information can then be shared with neighbors.
Anyone with information regarding this suspect's whereabouts is asked to immediately call the Akron Police Department at (330) 375-2490.
