The charges are connected to the death of Maurco Toler, who authorities say was killed in a drive-by shooting in the 25700 block of Zeman Avenue back on Dec. 11. The shooting happened at approximately 2:40 p.m. with the gunfire coming from a passing vehicle, which police say is believed to be a dark-colored 2004-2007 Ford Escape.

Jackson was arrested earlier this month.
