BROOK PARK, Ohio — Editor's note: The video in the player above is from a story published on July 5, 2021.
The Brook Park Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place near the Cuyahoga County Library on Saturday night.
According to officials, police responded to the 6100 block of Engle Road around 11:14 p.m. for reports of a large fight with shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers found one male who had sustained a gunshot wound. Members of the Brook Park Police Department provided first aid until paramedics arrived on the scene. The man was later transported to a local hospital for further treatment and his condition is unknown at this time.
Police tell 3News that one underage suspect was located and arrested following a preliminary investigation.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
