Cleveland FBI, Garfield Heights police seek help identifying robbery suspect

Police believe the same man may also be responsible for a credit union robbery that took place in Garfield Heights last week.

The Cleveland Division of FBI and Garfield Heights Police are seeking the public's help identifying a robbery suspect. 

The First Federal of Lakewood bank located at 12648 Rockside Road was robbed Monday by an unidentified man around 3 p.m. 

The man entered the bank presented a note demanding money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as clean shaven white male between the ages of 45-52. He is approximately six feet tall with a slender build, dark glasses and short brown hair. 

Police believe the same man may also be responsible for a credit union robbery that took place in Garfield Heights last week.

Anyone with any information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400 or Garfield Heights Police at 216-475-1234.

A reward is being offered for the successful identification and prosecution of the suspect.
