Cleveland Heights police investigating second fatal shooting in less than a week

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Police in Cleveland Heights are investigating the second fatal shooting to take place in the city in less than a week. 

Early Wednesday morning, officers were called to 2400 block of Noble Road for a male shot.

When police arrived at that address, they found a 26-year-old man in the stairway of an apartment building who had been shot multiple times.

Police immediately began administering aid until EMS could get there.

The victim was transported to the hospital, where he passed away.

Initial reports are that the victim was arguing with unknown persons shortly before he was shot.

Over the weekend, 23-year-old Malik Moore was shot and killed on Oakdale in Cleveland Heights.

Both cases remain under investigation.
