The Cleveland Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a man wanted for robbing a sleeping taxi driver.
The incident occurred Sunday, June 16 near the 1900 block of West 74 Street around 8:30 a.m. A driver with Ace Taxi Club was sleeping in his car when the pictured male approached his car. The suspect noticed he was sleeping and then opened the car door and stole approximately $30 from the victim’s shirt pocket before fleeing the scene.
The suspects is described as a bald black male, 30 to 40 years old with a short beard weighing approximately 200 pounds.He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants.
