Shooting kills one in Cleveland's Clark-Fulton neighborhood

Police are continuing their search for two suspects.

CLEVELAND — Police are investigating after one person was killed in a shooting on the city's southwest side.

It happened around 12:20 a.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of Roehl Avenue. 

Officers responded to a home where two people had been shot. Investigation revealed that two suspects began banging on the door until the victims answered. One of the suspects entered the home and began shooting before the pair fled the scene.

One victim, identified only as a 46-year-old man, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he later died. A second victim, identified as a 40-year-old man, was hospitalized in an unknown condition.

Police are continuing their search for the two suspects.
