Reward offered for info in 2022 East Cleveland shooting that left 1 dead, 9 hurt

A $5,000 reward is now being offered for information regarding the incident that took place outside a local bar during a high school reunion.

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — The search for suspects continues six months after a fatal mass shooting in East Cleveland, and police are now asking for additional help.

Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County is now offering a $5,000 reward for information regarding the person or persons who committed the crime. As of this month, there have still been no arrests.

The incident occurred back on Sept. 5, 2022, during an East Cleveland Shaw High School reunion at the Just Us Lounge & Deli on Euclid Avenue. Gunfire rang out outside the bar just before 3 a.m., resulting in 10 people being shot.

One of the victims, 30-year-old Cleveland resident Tyran Lewis, later died from his injuries at University Hospitals Cleveland Medial Center. According to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner, Lewis was shot in the right shoulder through his chest.
