East Cleveland Police investigating fatal stabbing, alleged suspect in custody

At this time, no official charges have been filed and there is no information on a potential motive.

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — The East Cleveland Police Department is investigating the fatal stabbing of a 33-year-old man overnight. 

Officials responded, just before 2 a.m., to the 13000 block of Euclid Avenue for reports of a man down. At the scene, the victim, identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner as 33-year-old Kossceous Felder, was found suffering a stab wound to the chest. Felder was transported to University Hospital for treatment, where he later died. 

While on scene, detectives took a man, believed to be the suspect, into the custody. At this time, no official charges have been filed and there is no information on a potential motive.
