Man shot dead on Cleveland's far east side

A 25-year-old man is dead after being shot in the stomach on Cleveland's far east side Sunday afternoon.

According to police, the shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. on the 19600 block of South Waterloo Road on the edge of town, a little over a mile away from Euclid Beach Park. It is believed that he and a woman he was with were driving when someone in a white SUV pulled up and fired multiple shots. The woman was not injured, and the suspect fled.

The victim died from his injuries at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He has been identified as Adam Belle of East 188th Street.
