A 20-year-old man is dead after being shot on Cleveland's southeast side late Tuesday night.
Police say the victim was apparently walking with an unknown person on the 17000 block of South Miles Road when shots were fired just before 11:15 p.m. He was struck multiple times and was later taken by EMS crews to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Witnesses told authorities an unknown male was seen fleeing the scene in what looked like a white Jeep. A loaded handgun was also recovered from the area.
