The North Olmsted Police Department is searching for the owner of a drug-filled wallet, Tuesday.

The Department recovered the wallet, Friday, after it was left at a local store.

A status posted on the departments Facebook Page explains, “Now most people would be happy to hear from the police to tell you that we have recovered your wallet and all of its contents.”

However, there was a catch to the recovery; the wallet contained cocaine and methamphetamine.

The Department went on to say that while the owner may be reluctant to come forward, they have their driver’s license as well, so contact is inevitable.

They asked the owner to take responsibility and come to the station and get the help they have long needed.

“The ball is in your court. One way or another, we will be talking soon,” the department ended their post.
