CLEVELAND — 40-year-old Paul Addicott II was back in court Tuesday morning amid charges in the death of a missing man whose body was found wrapped in plastic in a Parma basement.
During the brief hearing, a judge continued bond at $1 million for Addicott, who was arrested and charged in the murder of Ryan Krebs last month.
The case has been assigned to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Cassandra Collier-Williams with the first pretrial hearing set for Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 9 a.m.
Krebs, who was reported missing to the Parma Police Department on Aug. 25, was found dead inside a home in the 5200 block of West 26th Street on Nov. 16.
“A family member went to the house to remove guns that were inside of the house for safekeeping purposes,” according to a press release from Parma police. “While at the home, that male located a deceased person wrapped in plastic in the basement of the home.”
That person called police and investigators later identified the body as Krebs. Authorities say he had been shot multiple times.
