Police, FBI searching for man who robbed Key Bank in Cleveland

CLEVELAND — FBI and Cleveland Police officials are searching for the man who robbed the Key Bank on Chester Avenue on Friday afternoon. 

According to the Cleveland Division of the FBI, the suspect is possibly in his fifties or sixties. He wore a dark knit hat, a green coat and blue jeans. He was described as having a greying mustache and goatee.

The male entered the bank around 1:15 p.m., approached the teller and demanded cash in hundreds and fifties. The suspect said, "I don't want to hurt nobody but I'm capable."  

The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash.  No physical injuries were reported. No weapon was seen or displayed.

It is believed the suspect traveled near East 47th and Payne, however there is no known vehicle at this time.
