CLEVELAND — Editor's Note: The above video is from the reunion of Missy Lynn with her owners.

The suspect wanted for his role in a home invasion and theft of a dog on Cleveland's east side has been captured.

The Cleveland Division of Police confirmed to 3News that Herman T. Austin has been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

The dog was found running in a field near E. 115 and St. Clair last week. Members of Cleveland's City Kennel picked up "Missy Lynn" and took care of her until her owners arrived.

The break-in took place on October 4 in the 900 block of Wheelock Road.

Police say prior to the incident, one of the victims walked their dog to a nearby dollar store. While shopping inside, the dog was tied up outside of the store. It was at this time that the suspect approached the second victim, claiming that the dog was his stolen dog. He then went on to make threats, saying he would have more people come to their home and take the dog back.

At this time, the second victim reported the threats to police.

Shortly after, three men, including the suspect from the incident at the store, arrived at the victims' home. The suspect arrived on a black and white bicycle while the other two men arrived in what is described as a green Saturn SUV, with two to three women believed inside.

The three men approached the home armed with weapons, according to the victims. The suspects, while pointing their firearms at the victims, demanded they hand over the dog or they would come in and retrieve it.

The victims did not hand over the dog and remained inside their home.

When their demands were not met, the suspects began grabbing folded chairs from the home's porch and broke out the front double pane window. At this time, the victims gave the lead suspect the dog and he fled the scene on foot with the dog.

The remaining two suspects fled the scene in the vehicle they arrived in.
