Two charged with felony animal cruelty in Newburgh Heights

Fortunately, all four dogs were rescued and will survive.

Two people from Newburgh Heights have been charged with felony animal cruelty.

According to police, Jasmine Grays and Dion Harris both received a felony five charges after their four dogs were found in deplorable conditions and without food and water.

The dogs, including two puppies, were found chained together with limited to no mobility.

Two of the dogs were found in an attic with temperatures of over 100 degrees.

The dogs had turned to eating the insulation due to lack of food.

Fortunately, all four dogs were rescued and will survive.

The dogs were taken to Pepperidge Kennels for care and will soon be handed over to the APL for adoption.
