Students from local high schools have planned walk outs to remember the victims of the Parkland, Florida school shooting.
Westlake students walked out at noon Tuesday for 17 minutes, marking one minute for each of the shooting victims.
Mentor students walked out just after 2 p.m. and held a moment of silence:
Students also staged walkouts at Lakewood, Brooklyn and John Hay high schools.
Seventeen students and staff were killed one week ago, when 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz opened fire inside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He was arrested a short distance from the school that same day and faces 17 counts of murder.
