Online college visits allow high school seniors to check out schools in the age of COVID-19

Schools have gotten creative to help new students make their important decision.

CLEVELAND — While many colleges across the country have extended their decision deadline, some schools have moved to online platforms that allow users to digitally tour their campus.

Websites like You Visit allow students and families to check out some of the schools under consideration, while trying to make this major choice.

Users are able to filter schools based on price, location, campus setting, and enrollment numbers.

Sites like Campus Reel include interviews, ‘day in the life’ videos and interactive links that let students see the campus through and the atmosphere through the life of current enrollees.

Many schools will also offer facetime or zoom interviews with staff or current students to answer questions on the campus, academics or student life as well.

For a decision this major, tools like the ones above can significantly ease stress on students and parents.

Congratulations on your graduation, and good luck class of 2020.
