Cleveland Metroparks Zoo closing to prevent spread of coronavirus

The zoo will remain closed through at least March 31.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo will close in hopes of stopping the spread of coronavirus. 

The zoo made the announcement on social media Sunday afternoon. 

The zoo will be closed beginning March 16 through at least March 31. In addition to the zoo, Cleveland Metroparks indoor public facilities are closed and all events and programs are canceled.
