CVS expands drive-thru COVID-19 testing in Ohio, adds 20 new locations in the state

The new additions make a total of 67 locations at which Ohioans can be tested for the Coronavirus.

OHIO, USA — CVS Pharmacy has added 20 new Ohio locations to their COVID-19 drive-thru testing sites, which will open on Friday, September 11.

The pharmacy chain has also announced that beginning Friday, children 12 years and older are now eligible to be tested, with a parent or guardian present.

“With schools opening across the country, there’s an urgent need to make testing for minors more readily available,” said Troyen Brennan, MD, Chief Medical Officer, CVS Health. “In response, we’ve implemented a system that allows parents or guardians to register and accompany their children for a self-swab test close to home.”
