Watch again: Gov. DeWine holds latest press conference on coronavirus pandemic in Ohio

169 cases of the disease have been confirmed so far in the state, with one death.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Gov. Mike DeWine is holding his 12th consecutive daily press conference to discuss the spread of coronavirus in Ohio.

169 cases of the disease have been confirmed so far in the state, including the first death from 76-year-old Mark Wagoner Sr. of Lucas County. The majority of the cases are in Northeast Ohio.

DeWine was joined once again by Lt. Gov. Jon Husted and Ohio Department of Health Director Amy Acton. Dr. Acton's office has continued teaming with the governor to issue multiple orders in an effort to halt the pandemic, and today they announced a new one to shut down the state's senior citizen centers and senior day cares for the time being.
