Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Relief Fund announces latest rounds of financial assistance

This week, the group gave out $908,000 in grants to Cleveland based organizations

CLEVELAND — The fund, since it's creation it mid-March, has given out nearly $5 million in relief aid to 85 Northeast Ohio groups in need.

This week, the coalition will hand out $900,000 to 20 different groups between Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Lake counties. 

Among this week's recipients are 'Family Pride of Northeast Ohio,' 'Front Steps Housing,' and 'Lakewood Community Services Center.'

Although the relief fund donates to groups the relief fund donates to gwith particular focuses on groups that provide: food and shelter, comprehensive basic needs, disability services, and resources for vulnerable populations.
