I-X Center’s Piston Powered Auto-Rama canceled due to coronavirus

The list of events canceled for coronavirus is growing.

CLEVELAND — The I-X Center has announced the cancellation of this weekend's Piston Powered Auto-Rama.

The I-X Center issued the following statement Thursday morning:

With anticipation of the order from the Governor of the State of Ohio to ban mass gatherings due to COVID-19, the 2020 I-X Pison Powered Auto-Rama at the I-X Center, March 13, 14 & 15 has ben canceled.

To all attendees who purchased advance tickets: The I-X Center will issue a refund within 2-5 business days for all pre-sold tickets issued for the 2020 I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama. Advance tickets purchased at Discount Drug Mart locations using cash, refunds will be issued at the store tickets were originally purchased.

To all event participants, sponsors and vendors: I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama Management will be in direct communication regarding this year’s cancellation.

The list of events canceled amid coronavirus concerns has been growing all week. We have an updated look at all the event cancellations HERE.

Earlier Thursday, the Cleveland Orchestra also announced plans to cancel multiple performances scheduled for this week.
