Ohio Department of Health offering pop-up COVID-19 testing in East Cleveland, Akron this weekend

The testing sites will be in underserved areas but are available to anyone that would like to be tested for the virus.

CLEVELAND — The Ohio Department of health will offer free pop-up Coronavirus testing in East Cleveland and Akron this upcoming weekend.

The testing sites will be located in underserved areas but will be available for anyone that would like to be tested for the virus. A health care provider's referral is not needed to be tested. 

The pop-up testing will be done at the following locations: 

Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center

13944 Euclid Ave.

East Cleveland, OH 44112

September 12

Testing will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Chapel Hill Mall

2000 Brittain Rd.

Akron, OH 44310

September 12 and September 13

Testing will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The ODH says that no appointments are necessary and the testing is available at no-cost, but quantities are limited. For more information, click here.
