Health officials say two more people have died from flu-related illness in Cuyahoga County, bringing this season’s death toll to 17.
These deaths reported Friday happened during the week of April 14-20.
Both women who died were 88 years old. One was from Maple Heights, the other from Seven Hills.
There were 20 confirmed cases of flu-associated hospitalizations for the week, bringing the season’s total number of flu cases to 1,306.
