Illness closes multiple Northeast Ohio schools Friday

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio — Multiple schools within Northeast Ohio are closed due to illness on Friday, Jan. 31.

The list of illness-related school closings include:

- Cardinal Local Schools

- Constellation Schools: Old Brooklyn Community Elementary & Middle

- Crestview Local Schools

- Discovery School

- LEAP Porgram - Crestview

- Summit Academy-Lorain MS SS

- Summit Academy - Parma

- Westerly Elementary - Bay Village

Ohio is currently listed as having "widespread" flu activity, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
