SHAKER HEIGHTS -- The Cuyahoga County Board of Health has confirmed a case of West Nile Virus in a Shaker Heights resident.
The county has recorded two cases of West Nile Virus this year. Seventeen cases have been reported across the state. The state's first case of 2018 was reported in Willoughby in July.
The board of health has issued a reminder to continue use of insect repellant, as the season for infected mosquitoes peaks in August and September.
