AKRON, Ohio — Meet Milan.

The Akron Zoo announced Milan’s addition Friday.

“Milan, a female jaguar, is three years old,” the Zoo posted on Facebook. “She loves boxes, meatballs and fish.”

Milan is expected to make her public debut “once the weather begins warming up.”

Until then, zoo officials say she is “settling in nicely” in her new home.

She came to Akron from the San Antonio Zoo.

Last month, the Akron Zoo mourned the death of an 18.5-year-old jaguar named Naom. She died after being diagnosed with cancer back in August.
