Archie is an Akron legend, spending many holiday seasons chatting with youngsters inside Chapel Hill Mall. Now, the iconic talking snowman is returning for another Christmas season -- but this time at Lock 3 Park in downtown Akron.
“We are so excited to announce that Archie is ready to have a nice chat with everyone!” Lock 3 posted on their Facebook page Thursday night.
Archie will be available to talk with guests from 5-9 p.m. on the following dates: Dec. 18, 19, 20 and 23.
A drive-through option is also available from 5-9 p.m. on the following dates: Dec. 16, 17, 21, 22. This option carries a $10 cost per vehicle.
“Santa will be here, and you will be able to stop and chat with both Santa and Archie, view the vintage window displays and enjoy the lights in the park from your car," officials said regarding the drive-through option.
Reservations for the drive-through experience will be required as space is limited. You can make a reservation HERE.
